Manager, Economic Development

Bradley Harris is a member of the Economic Development Department at Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (GEMC). He is currently responsible for providing economic development assistance to communities across Georgia on behalf of the 41 Electric Membership Corporations (EMCs) that are members of GEMC. His responsibilities include acting as a single point of contact to investigate suitable locations, real estate, labor, workforce training, logistics information, demographics and other information necessary to site your manufacturing, distribution/ warehouse or North American headquarters operation into the Southeastern U.S.

A graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, he began his career teaching high school in 1996, and taught a variety of subjects within the Social Studies umbrella. He joined the economic development field in 2000, serving as a project manager for the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism until joining the GEMC team in July 2003.

Bradley serves as an active member of a number of national, regional, and state professional organizations, including CoreNet Global, the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), the Retail Industry Leader’s Association (RILA), the Japan-American Society of Georgia, and the Georgia Economic Development Association (GEDA).
